About
Ioannis Polychronopoulos is a contemporary interdisciplinary multi-media artist, whose practice operates at the intersection of video art, digital media, animation, painting, sound and immersive installation. His work explores the subconscious, delves into myth archetypes, memory, and the shifting boundary between consciousness and the unconscious as a visual experience.
Through an ongoing investigation of new media technologies, his research examines the integration of traditional artistic forms into digital environments. By weaving together image, sound and spatial experience, he creates works that aim to invite viewers to engage with their own emotions and memories, opening space for reflection, intuition and imaginative interpretation.
